CPR/First Aid/AED – 4½ to 5 Hours
2 Year Certification The Medic First Aid Basic Plus CPR, AED, and First Aid for Adults training program is intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid for adults. There are no class prerequisites. The goal of this training program is to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond in a medical emergency. This is a scenario-based, video-directed, instructional approach that combines seeing, hearing, speaking, feeling, and doing to engage students, embrace different learning styles, and make teaching and learning easier and more enjoyable. BasicPlus is designed to include a significant amount of hands-on skill practice.
CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogen – 5½ to 6 hours
2 Year Certification (CPR/FIRST AID/AED) 1 Year Certification (BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN) This training program is a combined adult CPR, AED (automated external defibrillator) First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen training designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider. This program will help employers meet OSHA and other Federal and State regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.
CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogen – 5½ to 6 hours
2 Year Certification (CPR/FIRST AID/AED) 1 Year Certification (BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN) This training program is a combined adult CPR, AED (automated external defibrillator) First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogen training designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider. This program will help employers meet OSHA and other Federal and State regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work.
Bloodborne Pathogen – 1½ to 2 Hours
1 Year Certification This training program will provide participants with the essential knowledge necessary to help reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The goal of the course is to help understand the risks and develop behaviors that will help protect employees when they are exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials. Yearly MIOSHA requirement R 325.70016 Rule 16-2.
CPR/AED – 3 Hours
2 Year Certification The chance of survival from sudden cardiac arrest is greater when high-quality CPR includes use of an AED (automated external defibrillator). As AEDs are becoming increasingly widely available in public and workplace settings, there is an increased need to educate all students how to use an AED. Hands-on skills training prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This course will teach participants to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, avoid bloodborne pathogens and learn the role of AEDs in the Cardiac Chain of Survival.
